Our Ledbury based client is seeking a dedicated Finance Officer on a full time, permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance, whilst providing financial insights to support continuous growth and future plans of the business

What you can expect:

• Salary: circa £35,000 per annum, depending on experience
• Working hours: Office hours, 37.5 hours per week

What you will be doing:

• Handle accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and all financial transactions
• Credit control
• Month end preparation
• Management accounts and analysis responsibilities (training provided, if no prior experience)
• General administration tasks to support within a small business
• Working closely with sales & marketing, and production teams, during busy periods to provide cover e.g. trade shows and distribution duties

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience in a financial role
• Qualified minimum AAT Level 3, although candidates working towards will be considered
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Attention to detail and strong numerical skills
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
• Preferable Xero experience, not essential
• ACCA/CIMA qualified would be advantageous, not essential
