Our rural Leominster client is seeking a full time, permanent Marketing Assistant to join their friendly and knowledgeable team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the wider marketing and sales strategy with a focus on increasing customer communication and brand awareness.

What you can expect:

• Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
• Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm with a 30 minute break
• 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing after 2 years’ service by 1 additional day per year, up to a maximum of five additional days)

What you will be doing:

• Managing social media accounts, creating content using Canva and other digital tools
• Planning and scheduling campaigns
• Designing engaging emails with Mailchimp and other digital tools
• Copywriting for product descriptions, blog posts and other pages
• Optimising listings and website content to increase traffic and sales
• Developing informative product listings that showcase product features
• Working with the Marketing Manager on exhibition stand designs, attending trade shows, keeping track of industry trends and analyse competitor activity
• Working closely with the Marketing Manager to align all activities with the company's brand and goals
• Maintaining good communication with all departments including sales, technical, warehouse and management
• Liaising with suppliers to understand their marketing activities, goals and targets to influence and combine with our own
• Helping the sales team field customer calls and emails to understand customer requirements

What we are looking for:

• Excellent IT skills to utilise CRM, Microsoft 365, Canva, Mailchimp and other applications
• Marketing experience or qualification
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Interest in renewable energy and technology
• Experience in product-based marketing, interpreting technical specifications into easy to understand content
