We are seeking a Production Administrator to join our rural north Herefordshire based client on a full time, permanent basis. This role will provide essential support to the production teams and contribute to the smooth execution of new project introductions, liaising with the Operations Manager, Quality Department and Managing Director. This is trainee position and full training will given to the right candidate

What you can expect:

• £26,936 per annum
• Permanent, 37 hours per week
• Monday to Thursday (8am – 5pm) and Friday (8am – 1pm)
• 22 days paid holiday per annum plus bank holidays
• Hybrid working option, maximum 2 days from home

What you will be doing:

• Liaison with customers and production teams to review new projects
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for project materials/tools, etc
• Collation of information for RFQs (Request for Quotes)
• Creation and update of all project BOM’s (Bills of Material)
• Creation and update of all Project SMV’s (Standard Minute Values)
• Assist with the compilation of project documents and technical drawings
• Support the manufacture of new project samples and prototypes
• Undertake investigations into new production techniques
• Advise on the use of new equipment and production processes together with Maintenance Manager
• Overseeing the start of manufacturing processes to ensure productivity and safety
• Provide general administrative support to the production teams
• Assist the management team on technical matters

What we are looking for:

• Experience of liaising with suppliers and/or customers
• Manufacturing industry experience desirable but not essential
• Prior Administration experience
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively
